Recipe: Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground chicken
½ white onion
2 tbsp fresh ginger
2 clove garlic
2 green onions
1 can water Chesnuts
⅛ cup Tamari (Soy Sauce)
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 tbsp chili sauce (Sriracha)
1 head butter lettuce
Instructions:
Brown chicken in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium to high heat. In the meantime, dice your white onion and water chestnuts. Grate or chop up your garlic and ginger. Add your onion, water chestnuts, garlic and ginger. Cook until onions are translucent. Next add your tamari and Hoisin sauce and reduce heat to simmer for 3-5 minutes. Cut your green onion on a diagonal and use it for garnish. Top your butter lettuce with the ground chicken mixer and green onion. Enjoy!
